Yesterday spent three and a half hours driving Calgary to Fernie and I have to say it was one of the easiest, most relaxing drives I've ever done. Didn't have the best of weather so the views were somewhat limited, but the clear open roads and with Highlander cruise control in action it was enjoyable nonetheless. Barely any traffic and single carriageway A type roads most of the way, some covered in snow (didn't capture those though ... doh) and bits of slush at times which would have caused gridlock back in the UK.
Journey was broken up by a quick stop at the worlds largest truck, see yesterdays post, but apart from that it was straight through, absolute piece of cake.
