Down by the riverside

Before leaving Nelson on Sunday we headed down to the river and took a few pictures.  Actually it's a narrow bit of a lake, but it looks like a river, an bridges cross rivers not lakes, so I'm calling it  river.

By the way did you know that bears eat humans?  Not fish.

I am massively impressed by the Google Pixel 2 XL phone - to get pictures like this from a camera phone is just silly.  Unbelievable.

This one was taken just before we left the hotel.  It's shot from our bedroom.
